My Garage Sale Find

A couple of weeks ago it was garage sale day in our community. I picked up this beautifully handstitched cross stitch of the last supper for $1. It is really sad that people don't appreciate the work that went into this. I will appreciated it though and am going to have it re-framed. (-:

I've only done small things in cross stitch and am amazed at people who do landscapes and pictures such as the Lord's Supper!
WOW What a great yard sale find. I'm glad it went to someone who will truly appreciate the work.

Hi COnnie,
It is pretty hard to understand people how come they don't value these wonderful things...
It is your luck to have this fantastic piece.
Love,
Rengin

I was out there, too, and found some great stuff! I can't wait to have time to take pictures and blog about it! This is a beautiful needlepoint -- how sad they got rid of it, but it's your luck!

Hi Connie,
This lovely piece was meant to be yours. So sad the owners didn't appreciate it for the image or the workmanship.
