I started sane quilting back in 1998 and in 2007 I picked up a book about crazy quilting by Judith Baker Montano and never looked back. Next, I poured over books by Marsha Michler and Carole Samples and others and joined several Crazy Quilting online groups. I have spent a good deal of time learning various techniques used on crazy quilts and still have a LONG way to go! To me crazy quilting is an art where you can really let yourself get creative. There are so many techniques to learn -- it is never boring! I have posted some of the brides on the CQ brides quilt I am working on. You can see more of my work in "Completed CQ Projects" in the lables on the right side of my blog. Check out www.pigtales and quilts.com to find other crazy quilter blogs like mine and to vote on the crazy quilt contest going on there. There are even prizes to be won.

Your family brides are beautiful. Love the way you've framed them each as individuals, and the subtle use of color.
What a delightful project making the brides' quilt. I love how each one is framed differently. This is beautiful!
